We have been learning about similes using "as". We matched these pictures to make it our own 

The rubbish                           is as smelly as	a sock
The girls hair                   swayed in the wind as if it	was a flag.
The lion                                  is as fierce as	a warrior.
The owl’s eyes                     are as round as	a plate.

The elephant                       is as sturdy as

a tree.
